From software engineering and information systems to transparent tools for working people
Hi, I'm Duc Nguyen X., the founder of Wage101.
I've spent more than 12 years as a software engineer building complex technology systems. My academic background is in Management Information Systems, which trained me to connect rules, data and system design.
Wage101 began with a simple frustration: everyday questions about pay and working time are often answered by opaque calculators or spreadsheets that are difficult to review.
Questions like:

- •Do the extra unpaid hours and the commute change which offer is better?
- •How much do work-related costs eat into what the role really pays?
Wage101 is my attempt to build the tools I wanted people to have: fast, transparent and grounded in explicit assumptions.
