Editorial Policy

See how Wage101 sources, tests, reviews, updates and corrects market-specific work and pay calculators, policy data and educational content.

Effective Date: 1 August 2026

Why this page exists

Wage101 publishes educational work and pay decision tools. This product-wide policy applies to the Global site and market URLs and explains who owns the work, how calculations and claims are reviewed, and where the product deliberately stops. A locale route is not evidence that every statement has been localised.

1. Data sources

Load-bearing policy or regulatory facts use primary authorities for the named market and archived evidence. Sources are assessed for authority, jurisdiction, scope, effective date, units and fit with the claim. Secondary sources may provide context but do not replace required official support.

2. Review workflow

Each workflow starts with a defined work or pay decision, market scope and specification. Formula logic is separated from UI, tested, connected to methodology and sources, then checked in static HTML before publication. The founder remains accountable for what is published.

3. Keeping figures current

Reviewed dependencies record their checked date and cadence. A dependency is not published as verified when evidence is missing, invalid or overdue for a required blocking review.

4. Educational boundary

Wage101 does not provide personalised tax, legal, financial or career advice. Results are estimates from visible inputs and assumptions and cannot model every contract, workplace rule or personal circumstance.

5. Corrections and AI-assisted work

AI and software may assist research, drafting or testing but are not authorities. Correction reports are investigated against the affected source and implementation. Confirmed material errors are corrected across affected logic, methodology, source and content surfaces, with visible review or history information updated where the surface provides it.
