Who operates Wage101 and what this notice covers

Wage101 is independently operated by its founder, Duc Nguyen X. This product-wide notice applies to the Global site and each market URL. Wage101 does not require an account and is designed to avoid collecting work, pay or commute assumptions and calculated results.

1. Calculator data

Calculations run in your browser. Calculator inputs, outputs, pay figures and result ranges are not sent to an external analytics service.

2. Cookies and identifiers

Wage101 does not use analytics cookies, sessions, visitor identifiers or fingerprinting. The analytics contract does not permit IP addresses, full user agents, referrers or query strings as event dimensions.

3. Local storage

Calculator plans may be saved automatically in local storage on your device, alongside theme preferences. They are not accounts, do not sync between devices and can be removed through tool controls or browser settings.

4. Analytics status

Wage101 sends categorical usage events to the product-owned events.wage101.com endpoint. Event payloads contain only allowlisted event names and governed page, tool, cluster or action identifiers; they exclude calculator inputs, outputs, work or pay values, personal information, IP addresses, user-agent strings, referrers, query strings, cookies, session identifiers and fingerprinting data. As with any web request, hosting and network providers process technical request metadata such as IP address and user agent to deliver the request. Wage101 does not add that metadata to analytics events or daily aggregate counters. Aggregate counters are retained for up to 400 days. Coarse country and device collection and client error monitoring remain disabled.

5. Why limited data is used

Categorical aggregates are used to understand whether public pages and tools are useful, improve navigation and reliability, and detect product problems. Wage101 does not use them for advertising, visitor profiles or automated decisions about individuals.

6. Retention

Product-owned daily aggregate counters are retained for up to 400 days. Data saved in your browser remains until you remove it or browser storage is cleared. Contact emails are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain the correspondence and meet applicable obligations. Infrastructure providers may retain security and delivery logs under their own service terms and retention controls.

7. Service providers and external links

Cloudflare provides site delivery, security and the infrastructure used by the product-owned analytics endpoint, and therefore processes technical request metadata needed to provide those services. An email provider processes messages you choose to send. Wage101 does not receive provider request logs as analytics event dimensions. Linked official websites and other external sites have their own privacy practices.

8. Global and market URLs

The same privacy baseline applies across Wage101 routes. Choosing a market URL does not create a local account, local office or different analytics profile. Rights and protections that apply where you live remain available and are not displaced by this product-wide notice.

9. Contact messages and privacy requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask about, access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain handling of personal information, and to complain to a relevant privacy authority. Because Wage101 has no account or visitor identifier, aggregate counters may not be linkable to you. Email messages are used to read and respond to your enquiry; verification may be needed before acting on a request. Do not send confidential employment or financial records.

10. Changes

Material changes are published here with an updated effective date. Accounts, forms, advertising or broader analytics would require a privacy review before launch.
